Engine Bay Cleaning Service in Boston, MA

Safe, professional engine bay detailing that removes years of grease and grime, so your engine looks great and runs cleaner.

Give your engine bay a professional clean

Pop the hood after a few Boston winters and you'll find the same thing: caked-on grime, oil mist, road salt, and dust built up across the engine bay. Beyond looking neglected, that buildup makes it harder to spot leaks early and drags down the impression your car makes at resale.
A professional engine bay cleaning safely strips away that grease and buildup. We do it the careful way, protecting sensitive electronics first and using controlled low pressure, so you get the clean look without the risk of a careless wash.

What's included in an engine bay detail

Protecting sensitive components. We cover the battery, fuse box, alternator, air intake, and exposed sensors before any water touches the engine.

Degreasing and agitation. A safe, purpose-built degreaser is worked into baked-on oil and grime with detailing brushes, reaching the spots a rinse can’t.

Controlled low-pressure rinse. We rinse with low, controlled pressure,  never a high-pressure blast that can force water into electrical connectors.

Thorough drying. The bay is dried with air and microfiber, removing the standing moisture that leads to corrosion.

Dressing and protection. Plastics, hoses, and rubber are dressed for a clean satin finish that resists future dust and grime.

Engine bay cleaning FAQs

Is it safe to clean my engine bay?
Yes — when it’s done correctly. We protect the battery, fuse box, alternator, air intake, and exposed sensors before we start, and we never high-pressure blast electronics.
Won’t water damage my engine or electrics?
No. We cover vulnerable components, use a controlled low-pressure rinse, and dry the bay thoroughly so no moisture is left behind.
How long does it take?
Most engine bay details take roughly 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how much buildup there is. It’s easy to add to a full detail.
How often should I have it done?
Once or twice a year suits most Boston drivers, more often if you rack up highway miles or drive a lot of salted winter roads.
Do you come to me?
Yes. We’re fully mobile and bring everything needed to your driveway, office lot, or wherever your car is parked.
